PHOTOGRAPHY: Sandra Monaco  Photography ( Kitchener, ON “Sandra has been one of our longest and closest mutual friends. From the day we met her, we have been working together on various photo shoots, and each and every time we’ve worked together, it’s been no less than perfect. From her visions to editing, she’s a photographer that not only understands how to shoot great photos, but one that understands each clients vibes and is able to take what someone is envisioning and making it a reality. Our favourite part of the wedding photos was how natural we felt. Her guidance in terms of where to stand, what to do and where to look was effortless and well communicated.” – S

We wanted to keep everything very light in terms of the colour scheme, using a lot of whites and tans with light greens & pink accents in our florals, as well as let the natural colours of the landscape and evening sky create that surreal vibe, almost as if we were in a dream.” – S

ADVICE, ONE COUPLE TO ANOTHER: “Be sure to start planning at least one and a half years in advance, as dates, venues, and suppliers get booked up very quickly with destination weddings. Take your time to really think about what theme and colour scheme you want to go with, and stick with it because sometimes the hardest thing is making that decision, and time flies by when you’re indecisive. Keep clear and thorough communications with all of your vendors on a regular basis, updating them with new ideas, questions, comments, so that they’re well aware of what exactly you’re looking to do without any miscommunication. Turn the planning process into more of an activity you can share amongst both of you and any friends/family willing to lend a hand so that everyone feels involved and the excitement and anticipation are shared amongst everyone!” M&S
